Snow, Small Town & 80's Party

We had about 3 inches of snow fall and our neighbors came over and wanted to build a snowman with our kids. They are so sweet. Their dogs loved the snow as well. Here is Christin putting the final touches on our snowman.

Jack and Emma posing with Frosty. We used old candy corn for his eyes and nose and their dogs kept eating the candy off of Frosty. They found a rock to replace one of his eyes.

Emma had a fun little event at school. They make the gym into little stations that you would find in your community. They had a post office, car wash, Chapel, Spa, Pet store, Bakery, Garden center, Police officers and more. It was really cute. Here is Emma at the bakery decorating her cookie.

Here is Emma going through the car wash. how adorable!

Happy now that her car is clean!

Bobby and I went to John's 39th birthday party and it was 80's themed. I was not that happy about it, but Bobby was all on board. He went to the Goodwill and got this great Members Only Jacket, 1983 Ozzy T-shirt and faded jeans. Good thing Tie die is always in cause it was easy to find. We also both bought a pair of Converse. In high school I had 3 different colors, pink, white and mint green. John and Matt & Kris were my friends from high school. I guess some things have not changed that much.

Emma was on top of the world meeting all the princesses!

Emma being hugged by Cinderella. You know she loved this too!

Princess Belle with Jack and Emma. The princesses were so sweet they spent at least 3-4minutes each speaking and taking pictures with the kids. Emma was just in awe.

It rained off and on the entire day when we were at Magic Kingdom. Most of the rides we were under cover or at least. At about 3pm we bought ponchos, but only used them for 30mins or so. It was actually GREAT!! There was no one at the park. The most we had to wait in a line was 20mins. Bobby waited 5mins to ride Space Mountain. We stayed until 6pm and thought about staying a little longer, but the kids started breaking down. We had such a great time! They kids pants were soaked to their knees from jumping in puddles, and their socks were so wet that we could wring them out when we got back to our hotel.

Jack and Josh at the end of the day soaked from head to toe.

Jack meeting his hero Buzz Lightyear! He was so excited.

Emma, Daddy and Jack at the end of the day.

Emma getting her beauty sleep.

The next morning I booked breakfast at the Polynesian Hotel with some of the Disney characters. It was great. They served us a HUGE breakfast. Then the characters came by each table and they had a parade around the restaurant with the kids. So adorable.

Lilo hugging Emma.

Lilo was so fascinated by Joshua. She spent lots of time with him.

How cute Emma is holding Jack's hand.

This is a cool picture that I took just after eating breakfast.
After breakfast I called my Great Aunt Jane and Uncle John and met them at lunch at Chickfil-a. It was pouring down rain all morning. So the kids got to play on the play ground while we got to talk with my Aunt and Uncle. We decided to go to Epcot since the forecast said that it should clear up. We thought since Magic Kingdom was empty because of the rain we should go ahead and try Epcot.

Joshua having a snack at Epcot.
We got to the park at 2pm and stayed until they closed at 9pm!

Emma and Jack outside the Nemo ride.

We had a great day at Epcot. The park was empty. The most we had to wait for a ride was 20 minutes. They have a ride called Soaring and you get on this hand glide type chair and they lift you over a large screen and blow air in your face and it feels like you are actually flying over different scenes. Some of the places that you fly over is Yosemite, the Golden Gate bridge, ski slopes, a river where people are rafting, surfers etc. Emma and Bobby rode it first and she was so excited! You had to be 40inches tall so Jack could not ride on it. Then I got to ride it with Emma. This was the only ride that I was really wanting to ride. It was so much fun. It was a great way to end our day at the park. The kids were so good the entire time! Joshua took his naps in either my arms or Bobby's. Man he is so heavy! We had such a great time, we will definitely be coming back!
Bye Bye Disney! Thank you for a wonderful time!
