Tennis, Tennis, and more tennis....

Jack sitting in his booster seat eating lunch. Shortly after saying "I'm Stuck"

Emma and Grandpa at our Friday night hangout El Porton

We are so proud of Emma she has used the potty at least once everyday since her break through. Jack is a talking machine. Grandpa came over today after going out to lunch and Jack was inside and he could see Grandpa outside and he kept saying "Grandpa" over and over (we did go outside and Grandpa pushed him and Emma up and down the driveway in their cars). Our favorite saying of Jack's right now is "I'm Stuck". Our favorite saying of Emma's right now is "No, I say NO!"
Bobby and I are playing in a tennis league called T-2 and we call our opponents and set up the time and date that we play against. Well, we won our division!! We had our first playoff match last night at 8:30 and won. We finally finished at 11pm!! So now we play our next round in the next few days. My womens ALTA team is currently tied in first place. We should have had our final regular match of the season today but we had a rain out. So we will see how far our team can go. We cannot go too far because our USTA team made it to STATE finals last August and we are playing our State playoffs in Rome GA in two weeks!! How exciting. We have been playing lots of tennis lately. At one point, Bobby and I were both playing ALTA and K-swiss (a singles league similar to T-2) and we were playing T-2 together. We are both now done with K-swiss, but my next T-2 league (with my partner Denise) will start on Monday!! YIKES. Tons of tennis. But we love it and it gives us a date night once a week. Our Anniversary is on Thursday May 1st. It seems like we have been married forever, but it has only been 4 years. Wow a lot has happened in 4 years. We have two beautiful children. :)

YIPPPEEEEEEE!! We are so proud.

This week we have been working on potty training Emma. I bought an Elmo video which she watched. I also got an Ernie potty book that we have been reading. In both these things they show a little potty. I was adamant about not buying a little potty cause I did not want to re-train her to use a real potty. Anyways, I broke down and brought her to the store and let her pick out her potty. She loves it. She likes to sit on it. Of course I still have to bribe her a bit. For the past two days she has sat on the potty, but nothing. I read book after book and nothing. Well tonight we went to dinner and her pull up was dry so I know it had to be soon that she had to go. So I told her that I would give her a lollipop if she would sit on the potty in front of the TV and put on Little Einsteins. Well it worked. About 10 minutes after sitting there she said "Mommy I pooped!" Bobby and I are so proud of her. I am hoping that this continues tomorrow. If she uses the potty one time tomorrow I will be so excited.
Emma has also been doing this really funny thing for a while now. If we put her in her crib for a nap or for bed and she hears us sneeze, she asks us if we are ok. She will ask us over and over again if we are ok if we do not answer her. I am not sure why she thinks something is wrong, but she does. Now anytime we sneeze she asks us if we are ok. I think this is so funny. She also has started noticing more sounds. Tonight she asked me what noise was outside. It was a cricket chirping. Every time a plane flies by she tells me that there is a plane high in the sky.

She did what? She is only 2!!!!!!!

This is Emma's and Chloe's hair that Emma cut!!
This is Emma's lovely new hair do! Notice the big chunks in the front missing.

This morning I found Emma hiding under the table with a pair of scissors and chunks of black, white and blond hair covering her. Last week I caught her with a pair of scissors cutting our cat Chloe's hair, but I did not think she would even think about cutting her own hair. Oh yeah, she did it!! She cut several pieces of of hair 2-3 inches long from her bangs. Don't most kids do this when they are at least 5? AHHHHHHHH. This past week Jack also started a nice new habit. He has been enjoying putting his food up his nose. Several times I have caught him putting things up in there and I have had to retrieve them out. Goodness Gracious~
Yesterday we had a great day as we got to watch my brother and my niece Grace get baptized at a family celebration at church. Our church believes that you get baptized after you have accepted Christ in your heart. After the church celebration we all went back to Greg's house and had BBQ with the family. Emma loves her cousins so much. It is so cute to see them playing with each other. During the ceremony Emma was sitting in my lap and Davis was sitting in my dad's lap and Davis tried to grab her paci out of her mouth several times. Emma would not have it. It was pretty funny.

The Loud Ones!

This dress I made for my cousin's little girl. Won't she be surprised!

You can see the monogram a little better in this closer picture.

Jack on his Thomas and the train ride on that Grandpa got him for Christmas.

Jake on the dinosaur at Roswell Park.

The perfect shirt for Emma "My daddy loves me"

Caroline having a blast on the swing!

Jack's modeling picture. Don't all models have messy hair??

Emma saying "mommy I don't want to say cheese. I wanna get down!"

Today we went to Roswell Park with Aunt Susan, baby Ben and Jake, & Jessie and Austin & Aunt Michelle and Caroline. We went to Chickfila afterwards for lunch and our kids were crazy. Even Jake!! Yes Jake. Jessie and I were watching the table of kids sitting next to us who were a little older but all were in their seats eating quietly. Our kids were up and down and helping themselves to the play area, spilling their ice cream and cheerios. Caroline & Ben were the only two good ones, but just give them 5 or 6 more months and they will be right in the mix with the others. This week we were lucky to visit with Bobby's cousin Kelly and her husband Jason. Jason is in the Army and currently stationed in Kuwait. He has gotten lucky and has gotten to go to conferences in Atlanta 3 times since September. We have been so blessed to have seen him so many times. Unfortunately this is the first time that Kelly has gotten to visit her husband in over 6 months!!!!!!! I cannot even imagine that. I miss Bobby when he goes out of town for 3 days much less 6 months. Hopefully we will be able to spend more time with them later this week. My cousin had her 4th baby this past Friday. Congrats to Sandi and Kyle on baby Bailey Claire. I cannot wait to meet her. She has to be adorable cause all her kids are so beautiful.

A little out of order

How cute! All four were born within 3 months of each other!

Emma and her best friend. She has started closing her eyes when I ask her to say cheese

Davis and Jack- Can you tell that Jack is 7months older??

Davis wants to steal his cousins lollipop

This was the dress that I made for Grace. How cute!!

Jack's speech is really coming along. He can say "I wanna get down!", "Go see Pa", "Bye Pa", "hi Mimi", "It's a ball"."Susan, Jack, Shoe, sock, nose, eye, ear, bath, big bird, elmo, cookie" It is so cute to see him learn. He loves Emma so much. He follows her around everywhere and wants to do whatever she is doing.

Beautiful Day

Today we went to the park with Jenn & Paige, Erica & Jack, Stacey & Matney and Aunt Susan, Jake and Ben. It was so nice outside. The trees are so beautiful outside. Unfortunately that causes the Bee's to come out in swarms. The kids all played together so well. It is hard to believe that four of us were pregnant at the same time 2 years ago. It is really hard to believe that 4 1/2 years ago when our small group began that only one person was married and there were only 3 children in our group. Now there are at least 11 kids now and at one on the way (that would be Erica). Congrats to Audrey & Chris on the birth of their son Connor today!! Wow 9lbs!! Erica and Stacey had the idea to put the kids in the tree for a great photo opp and the pictures turned out so cute.
Crazy to think that tomorrow's high is only in the 50's!
