Girls Night Out & Family Pictures

Lisa, Me (almost 9 mnths preggo), Carrie, Trish, Krissy & Mary at a cute restaurant in Buford. The food was super yummy, but the company was even better! I have known most of these girls since I was 16!!

We sat talking for 3 hours at our table. Good thing they did not need our table for more guests! I have to say that I was in a little bit of pain from sitting straight up for so long. Ouch. Oh the joys of pregnancy!

Jack laying in our bed watching Dora. Jack & Emma can now count to 10 in Spanish. Emma even knows all the colors in Spanish too!

She just ate a chocolate chip cookie. Yummy!!

I let Emma take a picture from my new camera as long as she stayed on our bed. This picture turned out pretty good.
My little ham playing it up for the camera.

She loves to do ballet moves!

And to show off her new dress that Mimi got her. It is pink and has no sleeves. That is the new criteria for her outfits.

So Beautiful!!

We love her so much!

First ER visit & Surprise Shower

Yesterday I started to make dinner and Emma I heard Emma crying. She was supposed to be taking a nap. I went to check on her and she was crying telling me that she put a shoe up her nose and pointed to what nostril it was in. I looked and saw nothing. I tried to clog up the other hole and told her to blow, but nothing happened. I called her pediatrician and they told me that I needed to go to the ER at Scottish Rite. So since she had a princess dress on, I asked her to get some real clothes on and I called Bobby to meet me. Emma was so tired that she fell asleep in the car on the way there. Once we got to the ER I checked her nose again and I could see a small piece of the shoe way up in her nose. We waited for about 15mins and they called us back. They put us in a room and the Dr. came in and took a look. Bobby had to hold Emma down while they put a long plastic thingy with a small hoop on the end up her nose. They could not get it out and Emma was screaming! Jack was freaking out that his sister was laying on the table and crying so I brought him out of the room. The nurse came out 2 mins later and let me know that they got it out and that we could go back in the room. You know she won't be doing that again!! When we were leaving she told us that she did not like that Dr. She was really shaken up about the entire experience. We went to Costco and let her pick out a cute dress and we ate dinner there. She loves Costco pizza. She has also is on a new kick where she will ONLY wear a pink dress with no sleeves. She loves anything with pink flowers on it. One little boy in her class inquired to his mom as to what dress Emma would be wearing that day. How funny. She is really a girly girl. Everyday she puts on princess or ballerina dress. It is really cute and a litle frustrating!

On Saturday my tennis team invited me to meet them for lunch since we have not seen everyone in so long. So I showed up at the restaurant and they threw me a surprise shower! Since I am pregnant with #3 the theme of the shower was a pamper me shower. They hired a lady from the massage school and she had a little chair set up in the back of the private room. We all got a 20 minute massage. It was really nice. We all ate lunch and cupcakes. Then I opened my giftes. I got lots of great things. I got a gift certificate for a spa manicure & pedicure, lotions, soaps, 3 hand knitted hats (one for each of my kids), gift certificates, jammies etc. It was so nice of them to do that for me!!

A day at the park-love this weather!!!

Emma refusing to look at the camera.

Jack wondering who is in the tunnel above him.

Austin going down the slide.

Austin showing Jake how to play with his action figure.

Brodie chewing on his play phone.

Austin-look how cute he is!! He looks like such a big boy.

Brodie and Jessie on her birthday.

My beautiful baby girl.

Ben sporting his crazy hair. Maybe we should just call him Einstein.

What a cute picture of Brodie and Jessie. They are both smiling.

Today I brought Emma to gymnastics. She loves it so much! They have a viewing window so you can check out what they are doing. I saw her swinging from a rope over a foam pit, holding onto the high bars and slightly swing from it and do a somersault. I have Jack sighed up for Tiny Tykes but it does not start until next week. He is going to love it. I was almost thinking of signing Emma up for that or ballet too, but I do not want to overwhelm since she is in school two days a week. After gymnastics we went to Publix and got some cupcakes for Jessie since it is her birthday today. We headed to the park and met Jessie, Austin & Brodie and Aunt Susan, Jake & Ben. The kids had so much fun. Emma had been begging me to go to the "big" park for a while now. We have not been there since August because of my student teaching. We ate lunch and then Emma insisted on singing Happy Birthday to Jessie (imagine that). We had such a great day. I think today will be in the mid 70's, but on Friday the high will only be 50! We have the craziest weather. But I am not complaining about the abnormally high temps.

Blizzard Winter 2009! Ha Ha

Well this year has been a little strange. We got our first snow in November and it snowed yesterday-the first day of March! This is the snow that accumulated on our deck. If it was a few more degrees colder we would have really gotten a lot of snow! You can see the huge flakes falling.

View of our neighborhood. As you can see it was not cold enough to stick on the streets. But it still looks very pretty.

Bobby helped Emma make a snowman.

Emma and Daddy making a snowman.

Emma is showing me the snowball that she made with daddy.

UGA is showing off the snow on our back porch.

The snow accumulated a little bit in our back yard too. It snowed hard for 3-4 hours! It was so beautiful outside.

Emma getting ready to go play in the snow. Jack took a nap though most of the snow. He is FINALLY getting in two of his bottom teeth so he has been taking some power naps. He slept 4 hours today and yesterday!
