Old Friends and a birthday

Here are some of my oldest friends from High School and Chick-fil-a.
Gina, Carrie, Rose, Lindsey, Susan & Lee

Lee-This was an oops picture, cause I was using Lindsey's camera, but it turned out great!

Today we went to Sammy's 1st birthday and Emma had a blue Lollipop, Can you tell?

Emma with her sunglasses on.
She insists on wearing them when we are in the car and it is bright! How adorable!

Today we went to McDonald's for breakfast and on the way there Bobby was asking Emma "What is the first letter in the word McDonalds". She said "I don't know". Then we asked her again and she said M! Then we asked her the same thing with Walmart and she said "I don't know. Then she said W! Then we asked her about Costco and she said "I don't know" and then said C! She is one smart little cookie!
Later in the day my friend Lindsey came into town for his high school class reunion and he wanted to get together a few friends that I graduated with from High School & Chick-fil-a. Lindsey, Susan and I worked together at Chick-fil-a for 5-6years! Lindsey would come home from Berry College and work on the weekends and I would come home from UGA and work on the weekends. Our boss was so cool. If I just called him, he would put me on the schedule to work. Well over the years we all became very close friends. Actually, to this day most of my very best friends are linked to me working at Chick-fil-a. What a great experience! So today we met up at Starbucks and I got to see Rose, Carrie, Lee, Susan and Lindsey. We all live close together, but don't make it a priority to see each other like we should. It was really great seeing my old friends.
Later today we went to Sammy's first birthday party. He is the CUTEST baby that I have ever see in my life. I would have taken pictures, but my camera battery of course died. Emma got to see her friend Austin and kept saying that I was going to take her to the park. When I was not doing my student teaching we would go to the park with Austin, Jessie and Brodie about once a week. I cannot wait to start doing that again! I only have 6 weeks left of my student teaching. I am enjoying it so much. My teacher is awesome and my kids are awesome. I am going to miss them so much. I was thinking the other day that I spend so much time with these kids and Bobby will never meet them. That is so weird to me.

This past weekend we took the kids to Burt's pumpkin patch. We went with Susan, Lee, Jake, Ben and Martha. We all had a great time. The kids loved playing around the pumpkins and looking at the different kinds of pumpkins that they have. They had white pumpkins and blue pumpkins (the looked almost gray). They had small pumpkins and very large pumpkins. We took the hayride around the property and it was entertaining. The kids loved to be in the back of the tractor sitting in hay. We had a great time!
