New Camera, Art Project & Funny Story

Jack saying Cheese!

Emma in her Princess dress. She would wear this outfit everyday if we let her.

I love this picture of her. She actually has a real smile.

Emma and her blanket. She has had this blanket since she was born. My mom's friend Delma gave it to us.

Cute picture of Emma!

See how she never looks at the camera. At least she is smiling!

Can you believe that Emma's bangs have still not completely grown out since she whacked them off last April.
So beautiful. I just love her so much!

This is why I love my new camera. I used to only get shots like this. Now I get shots like the one below.
Smile!

Jack playing with Tow Mater in the tub.

I love this picture of Jack.

He is concentrating so hard on his Tow Mater.

Jack having fun in the tub.

Emma and her Belle crown. She really thinks she is a princess. She insists that we call her Princess Emma. I guess it does not help that her daddy calls her Princess Emma all the time. She loves anything princess. She likes the princess with the pink dress.
Ornaments that the Jack and Emma made.

Jack made this one. I put glue in the bottom and the glitter on top and had them shake them up. I glued a ribbon to the top. They had so much fun!
Emma made this one. She had so much fun.

For Christmas Bobby got me a new camera. I am so excited and I love it so much. It is a Nikon D-40 slr. So I can take 2.5 pictures per second. This helps when you have 2 active children. I have only had it for not quite a week, but I am loving it so far. My pictures look so nice. Even when the light is low!
Funny Story
This past week we went to McD's with a friend and her kids. All our kids were all playing in the play area. Well my friend's child pooped in their diaper, but she had been giving her child a stool softener so it went out the bottom of the diaper and all down the pants. So she went and changed the child's dirty clothes. I had an extra pair of pants in my car from Jack's school clothes that we are required to bring each week so her child borrowed them. Well she asked me if she should report it to the people at McD's but I said no since to me it looked like it was contained in the child pants. So once her child was cleaned we all ate lunch and the kids played a little more. There was a mom that we were later talking to and she was there with her 3 kids. Well her youngest daughter came down the slide and had a clump of poop on her shoe! The lady came up to us and said that he daughter just got poop on her shoe and to make sure that our children had no poop on them. So I acted like I had no idea who it was that pooped and wiped off my kids hands and legs. The lady went and reported it to the staff so that they could clean it off and we all left. Emma has a semi-phobia of poop. Back in the summer she stepped in dog poop while we were at the park. She STILL talks about the day that she stepped in the poop. A few months ago she was in the bath with Jack and Jack pooped in the tub. I quickly got them both out, drained the tub and cleaned it out. Bobby put them in the other tub and cleaned them both off. So now every time I put them in the tub Emma says that she wants to take a bath in our room cause Jack poopied in the other tub! So after this event this week, she keeps saying that her friend got poop on her shoe and that it looks like a meatball! Not sure where she came up with the meatball statement, but I think it is pretty funny. It was not on her at all!!

Stacey hosted our annual ornament exchange. This year we were all supposed to wear our Christmas PJ's. I was hoping not to get pulled over on the way to her house.

Cutie Matney!

This past week we had our annual ornament exchange with the girls from my old Bible Study. These girls are so dear to me. Our group started five years ago and there was only one married person in our group of 8. Over the next few year we added a few girls and a few girls left. During that time most of us are married now and most of us have at least one child. It has been so wonderful celebrating life with these wonderful girls!
