This video was from this past week. It was nap time so she was being goofy with her eyes closed. She is so smart!! She can sound out every letter of the alphabet. I know I am probably just being the proud mom!
Yesterday we went to a Rome's Braves game. Funny thing is is that it takes us 1.5hrs to drive to Rome and over 2 hours to drive to downtown Atlanta for the games. Going to Rome is so much less stressful, the parking is only $3 and the most expensive seats are only $10 and there is not a bad seat in the house! The only thing that was not good was the heat!! We looked at the scoreboard when we got there and it said 95!!! And this was at 6pm. When we left it still said 91 and that was at 8:15. It is only the beginning of July!! We found some shade and got plenty of cold liquids. The kids had so much fun running around and playing in the grass.
Today I had a USTA match that started at 1pm!! It was so hot. It had to have been 100 degrees on the court. At the beginning of our match our opponents were joking around and said lets make a promise that whoever wins the first set, wins the second so that we do not have to go 3 sets in this heat!! Well, our opponents won the first set, but we did not keep up our end of the bargain. We took the second and third set. We played in that heat for 3 HOURS!!!! We took a break after the second set and put our heads under the shower. Man it was a hot weekend!!
